Interesting Philosophy

Man this is really long... 1 posts in 2 weeks? im really slacking behind! Man, one thing's for sure though, this CNY, ill be working instead of collceting ang baos. well technically i will eventually get more pay la, cause anyway my parents still keep my ang baos so its really shitty. So mostly its more about seeing my relatives la. But than again, i hate the comparison when relatives boast about their over achieveing children and than... lets not go to where i stand...

Recently my dad bought back a while lot of new dvds! Woo! so many to watch le! But my favourite, SAW trilogy!!!!!!!!!!! wooOOOO!! It rox man! Masterpiece! gore, great plot and suspence! But one thing about this movie that struck me was the philosophy. ( you know how i love philosophy :) ) For those who never watched SAW, ill explain. This guy who tries to commit suicide after knowing he is at a final stage of his cancer, lives after the attempt to take his own life. From than on, he realises the importance of life and knows that he must make good of it despite his dying days. Therefore, he dedicated his final days in putting other people to the test, mainly people whom he monitor and feels that they dont treasure life. He captures them, and put them in a death trap situation in which it will test their will power to live. Plus the death traps he sets are significantly related to their ways of not treasuring life. They have to make a choice, live or die.

Sounds cruel and twisted? To me, Yes and No. Yes because duh, its disgusting and inhuman to allow such things to happen. No (most No than yes) because actually, if you look at it in a different prospective, is it not that he is actually erm.. helping them?????? Right? You cant deny that. He DID try to help them. The victims did not treasure life hence they were put to a final test. Cruel as it may seem, is it not that IF they servive the test, they would DEFINATELY treasure their lives from than on? (wont u?) Some people learn the easy way and some learn the harsh way. And to most people he will just be the villen. Never the good guy, or even a vigelante.

However i feel that ideas like this is infact dangerous cause if people misinterpretate it and use it in the wrong way, than well.... god have mercy on his soul la, and ya maybe im a bit psyco la (but you pea brains are just too narrow minded) but after thinking about all this, i can say this will be one issue i will forever keep in the back of my mind and ponder over the fine line between saviour and sadist. So next time u see a horse head pop out of your closet and u wake up in a room where your life hangs by a thin thread don think of me ok :)

Hello.......
You may not know me, but.. i know you....
I want to play a game.....
The rules are simple....
Live or die!

I've also come to a conclusion. The makers of SAW must be the creaters of HAPPY TREE FRIENDS.
