Back to blogging

Oooh i havent been online for awhile... and i cant even type that fast now! My fingers have became fat from all that lack of exercise! Y? Work ofcourse! Not that i dont want to blog but because i really dont ahve the time to blog. Somehow, even after i have quitted peach garden, i find my life constantly filled with daily activities mainly involving the shrinkage of my pay! Hmmm.... Problem problem problem..... When you have no money you think about how to survive. When you have the money its how LONG it takes for your desire to consume your money and than your back to square 1. Funny isn't it. But for most people technically it isn''t a problem. See, most teens work for FUN. They work for the sheer reason of having their extra cash flow be it spending on better food, higher end entertainment or material possessions. Nothing wrong right? Its normal right? But if your parents have no problem with their own finances, they cant be botherd with what ever the hell you earn cause what is it compared to what THEY earn right? even if you have your own pay they wont mind still giving you your pocket money cause they DONT NEED that extra money. But what IF they dont need that extra money, yet they still insist that you pay every single bit for yourself after your pay, is it not that your "pay" is no longer excess cash anymore? Instead it becomes more of an "advanced allowance" from your parents. This is how my parents think.... If lets say i earn $800, They would not want me to spend it on stuff i want. Instead, use it "wisely". How wise? like just using it to buy my own meals everyday, that $800 suppose to last me. THAT to them is considered "wise". IF you knew... That by working so hard, for at least a month, would end up like this, than for ever what fuck reason would you even want to go to work in the first place right? I rather stay home, take that measerly few bucks that they only give me everytime and just do with it. Hell their not even poor lor... Life sucks if your parents are such misers.

Interesting Philosophy

Man this is really long... 1 posts in 2 weeks? im really slacking behind! Man, one thing's for sure though, this CNY, ill be working instead of collceting ang baos. well technically i will eventually get more pay la, cause anyway my parents still keep my ang baos so its really shitty. So mostly its more about seeing my relatives la. But than again, i hate the comparison when relatives boast about their over achieveing children and than... lets not go to where i stand...

Recently my dad bought back a while lot of new dvds! Woo! so many to watch le! But my favourite, SAW trilogy!!!!!!!!!!! wooOOOO!! It rox man! Masterpiece! gore, great plot and suspence! But one thing about this movie that struck me was the philosophy. ( you know how i love philosophy :) ) For those who never watched SAW, ill explain. This guy who tries to commit suicide after knowing he is at a final stage of his cancer, lives after the attempt to take his own life. From than on, he realises the importance of life and knows that he must make good of it despite his dying days. Therefore, he dedicated his final days in putting other people to the test, mainly people whom he monitor and feels that they dont treasure life. He captures them, and put them in a death trap situation in which it will test their will power to live. Plus the death traps he sets are significantly related to their ways of not treasuring life. They have to make a choice, live or die.

Sounds cruel and twisted? To me, Yes and No. Yes because duh, its disgusting and inhuman to allow such things to happen. No (most No than yes) because actually, if you look at it in a different prospective, is it not that he is actually erm.. helping them?????? Right? You cant deny that. He DID try to help them. The victims did not treasure life hence they were put to a final test. Cruel as it may seem, is it not that IF they servive the test, they would DEFINATELY treasure their lives from than on? (wont u?) Some people learn the easy way and some learn the harsh way. And to most people he will just be the villen. Never the good guy, or even a vigelante.

However i feel that ideas like this is infact dangerous cause if people misinterpretate it and use it in the wrong way, than well.... god have mercy on his soul la, and ya maybe im a bit psyco la (but you pea brains are just too narrow minded) but after thinking about all this, i can say this will be one issue i will forever keep in the back of my mind and ponder over the fine line between saviour and sadist. So next time u see a horse head pop out of your closet and u wake up in a room where your life hangs by a thin thread don think of me ok :)

Hello.......
You may not know me, but.. i know you....
I want to play a game.....
The rules are simple....
Live or die!

I've also come to a conclusion. The makers of SAW must be the creaters of HAPPY TREE FRIENDS.

Work work work!

Hmm this job is really draining up all my "me n my com" time. I hardly have time to go update my friendster or blog or whatever! routine : wake up, bathe, eat breakfast. reach work. Eat luch. Break. Eat Tea. Rot. Eat dinner. Work. Travel home. Eat supper. Note the ratio of work compared to food. This cant go on! 5 means a day which comprises of all of them being filling??? man.... I cant get fat! Maintain my physice! (bertina.... see my waist? is your waist smaller than mine? hahahahaaha!) cough cough* But im quite enjoying my job actually... (thx lionel!) Its quite a good work place you know... the china ppl are nice to me though my manager is a hell of a tiger and gets enraged at the slightest mistake. Hey, a clip with a 6 on it can also look like a 9 right? lets say i make a blunder like that during rush hour maybe once a day, is it that hard to let go? i mean the waitress is also dumb right since she was the one who took the damn order and not me... is her fault that she forgot the order right? DUMB FOLD!

One thing i hate about the restraunt, nay, almost ALL restraunts is that they love to cut costs, which involves doing the lamest things like installing 3 hour breaks in between shifts which are really pretty much redundent because like come on la. firstly. After your work, your probably too tired to go shopping. Secondly, lets say you DO want to go shopping, travel time involved says you cant shop for nuts with the remaining time. Sleeping is actually the best option. And lucky for me, i found the best most hidden spot to sleep in peach garden! (secret)

sleeping on the job...

Great discovery of the day: THERE IS ACTUALLY A HAWKER CENTRE IN RAFFLES PLACE! AND IT SERVES THE MOST MOUTH WATERING MANGO BEAN CURD!

Lame discovery of the day: Throughout the ages, man have designed wounderful elecronics that provide limitless functions, eg: a handphone, now a handphone is also a camera, an mp3 player, a calculator, a computer, a radio etc.... Oakley came out with a pair of sunglasses with a blue tooth attached, and also another one with an mp3 player. Recently apple designed a wind breaker that is also an mp3 player which is also a phone! But this is the worst thing to be invented so far. This cake cutting knife with buttons on it! No! It cannot play mp3. No! It does not have a camera function on it. and NO! Its doesnt have WiFi! What does it do than? It can play 4 cleche tunes that you really get bored of hearing. 1: Birthday song 2: wedding song 3: Graduation song (i didnt even know there was such a thing) 4: he's a jolly good fellow.... o he's a jolly good fellow.... The worst part is the music is equivilent to that of those you hear on plastic lanterns during moon cake festival. And where did i see it? In peach garden! When i was wiping it after it already had been USED! Imagine the look on the faces of the guests when the cake is being cut... totally spoils the mood... Gosh... wads next? T- shirts that can grow grass? (caution! do not iron/ tumble dry/ walk in the sun/ dry clean)

Lately blogging has been a little slow paced....but only because i found a job! Thx to my good friend Lionel, i managed to get a job at his mum's restaurant in peach garden! Yeah! So i've been working full time since and therefore to worn out to blog at night. So maybe i'll still try to commit weekly though... but i realise one thing, that its not so bad if you browse ppl's blog quite often, to see updates, but to try to cram everyone in your contact's blog in one day, and reading their month's worth of posts, it can be REALLY taxing! Note to self : try doing it more often hence less the hastle.

So more on the job im working at. Seriously i think the working enviornment is pretty good. Though plenty of china and malaysian ppl here, their actually quite nice. And the work is not that tough. Pays good and their offering $10 per hour
to work on CNY. Sounds tempting... but i wan celebrate with my family... Hmm... have to decide... guess the only down side is that u get confused with all the dif table no. and the chefs get a little cranky some times. Its so slack at night that brings me back to the lifeguard days. Because part of your job is being a self- entertainer! Haha! Its not a requirement but its a survival skill so that your job doesnt drive u mad....

playing with a tiny crab that i found.

That day we had some kinda wedding function in peach garden. It was full house that day! But there was one lame chop muslim family that required muslim food and we had to cater food just for them. Stupid lor. Very most they cant eat the sio ba only right? Just eat the fish and chicken and vege la! MAN! out of the 8 dishes served you mean you cant dont eat one of them meh? How come there is no such thing as a christian meal ar? or a buddhist meal ar? than must have HALAL! so SPECIAL! Anyway, it was fun watching the chefs prepare the enormous amounts of food. But my favourite was the army of sio ba! wahahahahha! So many sio ba.. wah... i wanted to gobble down all of them... but than Egg and i remembered a particular someone from our KHL printing days..... The Sio Ba general! Wahhhhhhh!!! His sio ba odur is unparellel. And just like hitlar, he has his own trademark had sign. The dreaded SLAP OF DEATH!!!!!!!! We went on for quite awhile and laughed like idiots...

Last Sat was individual house outings! So this was wad we did. At first we went to meet lawrence at Sun tec city because he was taking his exam there. We had vege lunch together and we walked around suntec while waiting for the others. And then Lawrence saw this exibition with wedding gowns, so we thought we stayed awhile and see if there was going to be a runway show on wedding gowns.... We also noticed that this exibition was also in collaberation with the opening of dream girls starring Beyonce so we expected something good. Guess wad. Yes you guessed it. On the contuary! When the music started, 3 not skinny women come on stage and danced and "lip sinked" to the music. It was disgusting... But the most disgusting part was after that one of the ladies took a mike and spoke. OMG... She was a HE! ack! A drag queen! And a disgusting one too! because of her crude jokes. Like one incident which involved an audience name and her boobs being called "too too" ACK!

After that we headed off to my house in ponggol. Everyone got wet. Haha! It was abit sian but also fun! Than after that we cooked our own dishes in the kitchen. Everyone helped! including me! mostly thx to our head chef Mabel!

Than after dinner most of the younger members left. So it was left with Zheng lin, Ernest, Kaiwen, Kai Yi, Lawrence and me. We talked alot. But there was one problem. I guess the guys got a bit carried away with the games and the anime that poor Kai Yi was always left out in the conversation. Erm guys.. this is Ananda house outing. Not One piece/ magic card/ warhammer outing..... Minimize the gamer talk abit ok? haha! And Lawrence broke his magnetic ring.... ai ya... cant be helped i guess... magnet brittle ma...

After Lawrence and Kai Yi left the 4 of us watched movies throughout the night... Watched final destination 3, was quite funny. But by the time we watched dead mans chest everyone was already stoned... that was about 4 + in the morning. So we all slept. Haha! Although we were quite sad that we were unable to hook up the PS 2 to the humangas screen, i guess we all enjoyed. Looking forward to our next outing!

bhliunhmj post.

Man O Man! These few days have been quite busy... Went from job interview to another... but its a fun way to kill time! Haha! Cause you will travel like mad, searching for locations and seeing if you pass... haha! Like amazing race!

Sigh, you know in life, sometimes u use the line "shit happens". Its to console yourself that life like this. We fall down and we pick ourselves up. We are thankful that we live another day because what doesnt kill us only makes us stronger. And most importantly, your chin up, hat low, and create your own kingdom. Keep that in mind you will definately become someone someday.

Recently theres been plenty of freak rain. That sucks! Cause rain = damage shoe! F***! You know how much i hate getting my shoe damaged! But when i was taking bus 61 to SBM that day, this is what i discovered! A lake in the middle of joo seng! lol! Imagine that, so many years and i didnt notice... i guess the residence at joo seng themselves didnt expect to see a lake pop up all of a sudden too... hmm... time to think of how to claim ownership of the lake and charge people for cash!

On sat, went to SBM, the dharma talk was about death. Enough said. But after that Ananda had bonding for dinner. I ate a plate of fried rice. And before i could digest, Quo Quan called me and asked me to eat sea food with them at marina bay! Than for some reason, i agreed to go with them... The sea food was not so nice la.... cause the serve crab, but the dont have the bloody shell cracker. But the black pepper beef was MMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmm! delicious! The smell of it frying in the butter.... even when your full you cant resist it..... So you can imagine how full i was after the buffet. After the buffet there was alse free ice cream. Ok, it was fine la until some idiot decided that his ice cream was not worth his mouth's attention so he threw it onto the pit and watched it melt away. But he didnt stop there. Butter and soup and whatever there was on the table was added to bring out that "Unique" flavour. After that, the guys were making racist jokes about Pinoy gamers online on how they infest every living free online game on the face of the earth and are the biggest bastards. But little did they realise that there WERE a group of Pinoys there and the looked seriously pissed. Luckly nothing happened. HAHA!

Off to a more saddening issue. My silky terrier has passed away... after being with me for 7 years.... The day before he died he looked ill, and vomited a few times. My dad agreed to sending him to a vet the following day but looks like he didnt make it to morning..... But when i called SPCA for directions on how to proceed, they told me to just wrap him up and leave him with the garbage and let the garbage man dispose of him. I was disgusted! Come on la! He at least deserves a little bit of respect right? You mean you would do the same thing if your grand mother died???? I dont blame you if thats standard procedure. But your TONE sucks! You heartless indian biatch! So in the end we said a few prayers before wrapping him in a bed sheet and in black poly-ester bag before we never saw him again. Poor Ronnie. Hope you have a better next life.... I know you will..... We will miss you dearly..... Now that Ronnie is gone, Bonjo is gone and Rocky is with my dad's friend, I feel so lonley without the K-9 atmosphere around the house anymore... Sigh...
Life must go on.....

HA! luckly i had this opportunity to come to China town! Its quite a nice place to shop actually! plenty of things to see.... but somehow, i feel ashamed! Talk about Irony.

Fun at Palawan!

Yesterday was my 1st SBM NOOB orientaion at Sentosa Palawan beach! It was Fun! This is how u spell a weekend! Physical activities! woot! Going to the beach, cycling, kayaking, swimming. Shopping is fun too ofcourse but realllly drains the wallet fast....

Mass punishment.

Our SBM group photo. Sadly im abit too far away to be seen properly.

Than i woke up this morning. And when i opened my eyes, i said "hello old friend! welcome back!" You all probably dont know what im talking about. Well... its my dragon scales ofcourse! haha! Those that i aquired during my days as a life guard. Naturally, what happens is your feet will begain to crack up often due to the intense heat on the ground. Ya la, definately not dragon scales, but im just looking at it in a nice way :D so apparently the outing to sentosa has led to the rebirth to my "dragon scales but who cares! Im happy! its not like the first bad thing that happened to my foot! haha!

Really short post today. Feeling soft.....like ice cream!
